Hi, I'd like to book a cleaning for the afternoon of Wednesday the 12th, around five if you have it. If not I'm flexible that week, so anything close to that works.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost, and what happens if we stop?
$399 a month for one location and up to 1,200 answered calls, then 22¢ a call after that. No setup fee, no annual contract. Cancel inside the app and your number routes back to your old system the same day — we never hold the phone number.
How long does setup actually take?
Nine days on average, measured across the last 60 practices. Day one is a 45 minute call where we record your appointment types, chair times and providers. Days two to seven we listen to your real calls in shadow mode without answering. Day eight you approve the transcript review. Day nine it goes live on the hours you choose.
Which practice management systems do you write to?
Chartwell, Molar OS, Opaline, ArchDesk, Quadrant, Perio Cloud, Dentiq, Sextant and Riva PMS, with two-way read and write. Everything else is one-way today: Chairside books into a shared calendar and drops the note in your inbox. Tell us your system on the call and we will say plainly whether it is supported.
Will patients know they are talking to software?
Yes, because it says so. Chairside opens with the practice name and the sentence “you are speaking with an automated receptionist.” You can edit that line but you cannot remove it. In our own reviews 8 out of 10 callers finish the booking anyway; the ones who do not get transferred to a human.
What happens on a real emergency?
You define the trigger words — swelling, trauma, bleeding, severe pain. When one is heard, Chairside stops trying to book, reads back your emergency script, and either transfers to the on-call number or texts the duty clinician within ten seconds. It never tries to give clinical advice.
Do we have to change phone provider?
No. You forward your existing line on the conditions you pick — after hours only, after four rings, or every call. Your number, your carrier, your bill. Forwarding takes about ten minutes and we do it with you on a screen share.
